Jean Cazals is a London-based, award-winning food photographer whose work has been published extensively in the UK and internationally. His images have appeared in numerous magazines and in over 80 cookbooks, including chefs and restaurant titles. He is known for his styled and clean images using soft and atmospheric lighting. He has collaborated with many renowned international chefs such as Michel Roux, Peter Gordon, Jamie Oliver, Pierre Gagnaire, Gordon Ramsay and Raymond Blanc, among others. Jean is a three-time winner of the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year award. He has also been shortlisted for several major photography awards worldwide, including the James Beard Awards. Some of his portraits form part of the National Portrait Gallery collection in London, and his work has been exhibited in both London and France. As an author, Jean received the Gourmand Award for Best Dessert Cookbook for TeaTime. He continues to work as a photographer and consultant, developing new projects, books, and publication concepts, bringing his expertise to help shape and realise creative visions.
