As we prepare for our 60th anniversary in 2027 and expand our international publishing programme, we are looking for a talented and committed Publishing & Communications Coordinator to join us at a pivotal moment. This is a hands-on, wide-ranging role working directly with the Publishing Director across all stages of the publishing process. You will support editorial and production workflows, lead aspects of communications and marketing, liaise with authors and partners, and help organise events, launches, and international book fairs. No two days are the same, and the right person will have the opportunity to grow with the company. On-site presence is essential. Our office is the creative and operational hub of the publishing house, and this role requires full engagement within that environment.
£25,000-£28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

We are always keen to hear from curious, motivated interns looking for hands-on experience within an independent, award-winning publishing house. Papadakis internships run for 3–6 months, are paid (basic costs covered), and offer meaningful involvement across editorial, production, design, communications, rights, and events. Interns work closely with the publishing team, contributing directly to high-profile illustrated books with international reach, while shaping their role within a creatively ambitious and purpose-driven environment.
